At Olsman MacKenzie Peacock (OMP), we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and one of our favorite ways to do so is by supporting the Huntington Woods Men’s Club Service Auction. We are proud to be a long-time sponsor of this important event, which serves as the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Men’s Club.
What Is the Service Auction?
The Huntington Woods Men’s Club is a 501(c)(4) organization that has been dedicated to community service and improvement projects for decades. Each year, the Service Auction raises money to fund a specific community project in Huntington Woods. The event provides a fantastic opportunity for community members to come together, volunteer, and support meaningful local improvements.
The 2025 Service Auction is scheduled for April 26, 2025, and will focus on much-needed improvements to the drainage system at the Burton ballfield and playground near BSC Park. Given the persistent groundwater issues in the city, the City and School District are working together to re-engineer the drainage system to ensure that the fields remain safe, accessible, and well-maintained for years to come.
Jules Olsman: A Longtime Supporter of Huntington Woods
OMP’s own Jules Olsman has been a dedicated member of the Huntington Woods community for nearly five decades. As a City Commissioner since 2009 (reelected in 2013) and a former member of the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals, Jules has always been passionate about enhancing the quality of life in Huntington Woods. He and his wife Barbara have lived in the city since 1976, and Jules remains actively involved in local organizations such as the Tri-Community Coalition and the Huntington Woods Men’s Club.
